4 tourists missing for trekking in Malana, Himachal, team leaves for search

Kullu. Incidents of missing tracking are coming to the fore in Himachal Pradesh. After Kinnaur, now 6 trackers have gone missing in Kullu. A team of administration and others has been dispatched to search for the missing trackers. Kullu police personnel are also included in the rescue team. Kullu SP Gurdev Singh has confirmed the disappearance of the four trackers.

According to the information, a team of trekkers from West Bengal had set out for the trekking of Deun Ratni Tibba in Malana, Kullu. A total of seven people including a cook were involved in this team. Two trackers with Cook reached Malana but four people are missing.

Kullu district administration has sent a team of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Mountaineering Training Institute Manali and local rescue team Zari to the spot, which is looking for these trackers. SDM Kullu Vikas Shukla has been entrusted with the responsibility of the search operation to find the missing trackers.

Ban on trekking in Kinnaur

Abid Hussain Sadiq, DC of Kinnaur district has written a letter to the DM of Uttarkashi, in which DC Kinnaur has asked DM Uttarkashi to close all the trekking routes towards Uttarakhand, the places coming to Himachal from there. On behalf of Kinnaur, DC has imposed restrictions on all trekking areas for trekking. In fact, last week, one of the trackers was killed in the Khimlog pass, while the other was injured. The injured person has been taken out by the rescue team of ITBP and Kinnaur administration. But the body has not yet been recovered.
